WHAT IS
BC MBA GAMES?
The BC MBA Games, founded at Vancouver Island University, is an annual legacy competition that brings together MBA students from across British Columbia. Hosted by different MBA schools each year, the Games are a testament to the spirit of collaboration and excellence.
The BC MBA Games Advisory Committee ensures the continuity and integrity of the event, providing a sustainable framework and best practices for future hosts.
The organizers of the BC MBA Games 2026 respectfully acknowledge that this event takes place on the unceded traditional territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations, on which Simon Fraser University’s Vancouver campus is located.

The BC MBA Games aim to foster a spirit of competition and camaraderie among MBA students. Our mission is to provide a platform where students can showcase their abilities, engage with the community, and develop meaningful connections.
We strive to create an event that embodies excellence, teamwork, and a commitment to making a positive impact while empowering students to lead with integrity and resilience.

CHANGING THE GAME
This theme challenges current and future leaders to rethink how sport, business, and society can advance equity, inclusion, and collaboration. MBA participants will be asked to critically examine systems that create barriers to participation and to design innovative, team-based solutions that promote belonging, shared leadership, and fair opportunities across industries.
Everyone has a place on the team. We actively remove barriers so different perspectives, backgrounds, and lived experiences can shape decisions, spark new ideas, and turn individual strengths into collective wins.
Success is not a silo. We value teamwork that crosses disciplines, backgrounds, and industries, pushing ideas further through shared effort and mutual respect. True game-changersbuild together, not apart.
