CHARITY PARTNER

ISPARC-WORDMARK-HORIZ2023_TRANSPARENT_RGB_72dpi (1).png

We are honored to partner with the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (I·SPARC), a provincial organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Indigenous peoples across British Columbia. Born from a historic agreement between the First Nations Health Council, the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres, and Métis Nation BC, I·SPARC acts as the steward of the Aboriginal Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity Strategy.

By building capacity and expanding access to sport, recreation, and physical activity within First Nations communities, Métis Chartered Communities, Friendship Centres, and schools, I·SPARC empowers individuals and families to lead active, healthy lives. Headquartered on the traditional territories of the Songhees Nation, I·SPARC also serves as BC’s recognized member body in the national Aboriginal Sport Circle.
